WHY ARE YOU PRETENDING NOT TO KNOW?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Freshslade
You're literally chaining yourself to the past, and you're preventing your gifts from shining when you're too afraid to examine what really happened or at least think about it or at least talk about it. I get it. Maybe he wasn't comfortable talking to me about it, or maybe just at that time, but I feel like this is a larger perspective, that we all do this. We all kind of hide from our true self, our issues, our pain by pretending not to know

That's the real thing that we have to remember throughout life is to enjoy the ride and to always do our best, whatever that may be. Doing your best is not staying up 24/7 working incessantly. Doing your best is taking care of yourself while putting good energy into whatever goal you want to manifest. But I do hope everything goes well for you in school, though. Thanks

Hey, Michael. How you doing? I really like that phrase that Echo Toll has. I might miss word it, but it's something along the lines of if you're unhappy with the situation, if you're angry with the situation, if you're uncomfortable, you can change into situation or you can change the way you think about it. And I've taken that to heart in my life. I was pretty much that sort of person anyway. I hate sitting in discomfort

@GeorgieDee

It's not supposed to be following the whims of somebody else or my parents or society. I feel like a lot of people just think that life is supposed to be one way, and once you condition the body and the mind to start producing these thoughts of, well, I didn't get what I wanted, and I completely expected this. So let's just dwell on these emotions because this is usual. And remember that our bodies like to maintain homeostasis. We like to remain the same

@Freshslade Do ALL the changes now 😁

So, young man, do all the changes as much as you can for as long as you can until you can. Hey, one time I left this house and you know what I did? I rented a double storey aging mansion on the river and all my friends were like, Are you crazy? What are you going to do in a house that big all on your own? It's really expensive. Blah, blah, blah. Do you know what?

And he's talking about, like, sustained change over time with a consistent mind and a flexible body applying the opposite principle to each one. It's amazing. But you still can change if you want to leave that job. I know you said you resolved it, but if you want to leave that job, you still can. But I get it, because you've probably built a community there. You probably have some lifelong friends there, and that's something that I envy

Like, I've actually started influencing the management team to make decisions around how they're running things because I used to be in the management team. Right. And as far as my house goes, I was unhappy because my 25 year old, six foot three child moved back home. So with my son in my house, it made it really small. But then I reconciled myself to the fact that he's not staying forever and he's actually planning to move out very soon

Hey, Georgie, thanks for your response. And, yeah, I got that that change is going to happen. It's just I just love to say it all the time because I am I'm such an advocate of change. I guess I'm such an advocate because my natural nature is it doesn't really like change, but, like, deep down, I do. So it's kind of like something that I struggle with
