The same, really, is with my thoughts, with your thoughts, with other people's thoughts. When the emotions cause us to be mood dependent, all we want to do is get away from the emotions. When they're painful, when we are upset, when we are anxious, when we are nervous, when we think one thing is going to run right into the next and it's just going to get worse, the situation will just get worse

There's been other times in my life, like kind of the one I'm closing out on now, where meditation has been increasingly difficult. It's like a season almost, and I feel more and more called to the stillness that I know meditation provides. So I wanted to just chime in on this. I'm happy that you touched on the whole aspect of just contemplative meditation and just observing there's so much beauty there and it's a blessing to be able to continuously discover and rediscover that path
