Talk to your travel advisors, say, hey, can you recommend two or three activities that I can talk to my kids about? And then have them choose between those two or three activities that you get from your travel advisor. And then they own part of the planning and they don't feel like you're just bossing them around throughout the trip and again, take turns. One day you pick one, the other day you pick one

But I think you brought up a really good point, just not even for teenagers, but just the fact of not over booking trips. I find that I tend to do that when I take trips and making sure there's time to relax and take in what you just experienced on your travel. And I used to do counseling the summer camp with teenagers, and that made me think too, of just allowing the time for them to settle into things. That was one thing
And it's really understanding a culture and understanding where you are and how people and locals live there and how you can find so many things that are different and so many things that you have in common and just that people watching and really understanding that sense of place. It's such a big part and such a big component of your trip that if you don't have time on your schedule and your itinerary, then it's like you were never really there
