There are so many trans men and women who feel like they are absolutely and utterly entitled. They feel like they deserve everything in the world, that they deserve the surgeries, that they deserve to get the free housing, they deserve to get the food stamps, they deserve to get everything under the sun. And that's not how life works. It's not how life works. I didn't do that. It never even crossed my mind to want to do that
