He's done it multiple times with cash changes and things like that over the years. But I just kind of think the show has finally peaked. Maybe the YouTube generation has killed it, but it's just becoming less relevant, even though I know they try to keep it relevant with topical skits regarding the news, but I go back a long way with SNL. I go back to the original cast

It doesn't need anything on top of it to make it any funnier. In some ways, I don't know how you make things funnier. The whole Four Seasons Landscaping press conference, you literally cannot get any funnier than how that played out. And I just feel like they're trying too hard when they have a skit like that. And as a result, it's just not something that find necessarily funny or original
Hey, man, I don't think SNL has just peaked. I think it's peaked multiple times. Actually, I don't know if you can have a show run this long and not have several peaks in the and of course it was existence. I've always said that 90 minutes run time was way too long

I think it was the final skit was when Eddie Murphy hosted and they did the Elves. I think that may have been, which was hilarious. The one with Santa and the elves. The polar bear had taken over the elves workshop and was killing elves, and they were doing the breaking news from it. And I think that was like a third, the final skit of the show. But outside of that, man, it's a waste

My parents watched that, and I would catch it from time to time. And I went back. So when Hulu first came around, all seasons of Saturday Night Live were available. So one of the first things I wanted to do was go back and watch all of that. And I'm doing air quotes right now. Genius era of SNL. And what I found was it wasn't so genius cheeseburger, cheeseburger and the cone heads and all that kind of stuff
