Someone comes up, pokes us in the nose, and we do things. And so in Canada. I live in Canada, by the way, they banned 1500 automatic weapons here about a year or two ago now. They've paused handgun sales in totality. Not sure what's going to happen with that, but it is tragic what I've been witnessing in the United States and in Texas

It never is too much. I never can hear this stuff too much. And to hear both of you talk and connect around these very important issues of personal grief, of of collective grief and of the of making sense about what does work in different countries. I mean, Greg, of course, the banning of assault weapons makes so much sense. And I'm so happy that you're up there while we still wander away time down here

Hey, Tom, I know I'm late to this convo, but I was just waiting for the primary results from yesterday. And, you know, it's disheartening to see that the turnout in California was extremely lukewarm. And so there seems to be at least in California, at least for the primary. Now, this doesn't in any way speak for the midterms necessarily, but it seems to me that people are not pumped up enough to go out and cast their vote

I have buried both of my parents, my father's older brother, my Uncle Julian. And I lost my therapist four weeks ago. And I also, as I mentioned, I lost one of my best friends. So I'm going to Mexico for a week, a retreat to heal. And they are offering plant medicine. That's a whole another conversation. But we all have difficulties in our life. I'm just trying to be the best version version of myself

Hey, Deborah, my dear friend, happy Friday. Sorry it's taking me a little while to get back to you, but I'm glad I haven't had a chance to see how the elections went in La. Getting ready to head to Mexico, to a retreat to get over the loss and grief of a number of people, family members, my parents. It's not funny. I'm just laughing nervously
