The story begins this way. Does every day of your life feel exactly the same? With the years just flying by, you're far from alone. It turns out the average adult spends more than ten years of their life on autopilot. How does this make you feel? I want to know

Average person spends 4 hours a day and a decade of their life on ‘autopilot’

The way that the brain then takes memories of the day and commits them to long term memory. The way that dreams process information. And if we prime ourselves before going to sleep, apparently we can even improve upon that process. So all of this to say, I guess that my response is I don't want to reduce my life to a particular number or this particular observation. I want to embrace the complexities
