Why Multiverse Stories?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Tim
Have a question for you fans of the multiverse out there, what does the multiverse allow us to do in terms of storytelling? Even at a young age, back in the Seventies and Eighties, I realized it allows you to sell more comic books and more movie tickets. At one point, Marvel and DC just were upfront about it, like, look, this story is going to take place on a different Earth, Earth Number Two or Earth Number Three or Earth Number 347. They box themselves in

What do parallel universes and multiverse narratives give us? #EverythingEverywhereAllAtOnce

Ans) The Fresh Takes And Endless Possibilities Ofcourse ;)

They resonate with a lot of people because the past few generations, every one you've ever seen a life during that time, we've been exposed to this fantastical concept and I don't think it has left anyone without a sense of awe into all the different possibilities

🤔

I understand that. But I think all the great writers and directors and even actors are able to kind of use that stuff and turn it into something else. And I think that's what can be missing sometimes. So, yeah, with the multiverse thing, even like Law and Order. Right. They've been doing it forever. Well, not multiverse, just like different universes in one

And it was really interesting to have that experience in, like, a Sci-Fi action flick that was as over the top as it was philosophical. And I loved every moment of it. And I was reminded, you know, that I'm a big comic book guy, and I've read them since I was really little. I've never really been a big fan. Why? Why, why multiverse stories, the reason that you brought up

But yeah, she just said, like, you are lovable even in a stupid universe, if we have like, hot dog fingers or whatever. Yeah, I loved that. And then also the movie in and of itself was just a reminder that there Ave infinite versions of ourselves and we're calling constantly changing and evolving. And yeah, I thought it was a beautiful film
