Podcast Recommendation: Films to Be Buried With

article image placeholderUploaded by @Tim
He can talk about anything from The Muppet Christmas Carol to The Godfather, from the musical Annie to moonlight. He's interviewed directors like Barry Jenkins, Bobcat Gulp Wave and Judd Apatow, performers like Ricky Gervais, Sharon Stone and countless others. It's a really fun podcast, and I've only discovered it during the pandemic. So if you're interested in film and or if you're a fan of Ted Lasso, check films to be buried with with with Brett Goldstein

Brett Goldstein is obsessed with movies, which leads to really fun interviews. The movies that impact us reveal a lot about who we are.

So it's like you look at someone's film collection and it really does say a lot about where they come from, what they're into, the types of art they maybe like to consume. Not to generalize, but you can probably tell from the films that I mentioned. There's like some parallel between some of them, but I'm definitely going to check this out. Really, really cool. Thank you for sharing

@Taylor check out the episode with Pete Holmes

I think one of my favorite episodes is when Brett interviews Pete Holmes of the HBO show Crashing, because Brett is a fan of that show, but particularly because I think not because I identify with Pete's picks. But Pete has a moment where he explains to Brett why he thinks it's so important to go see movies in a theater. And I just thought it was such a good encompassing of the philosophy of the social and what was the word epistemological context in which we experienced experience cinema
