In which I am invited back to the theatre after an 18 year absence

And back in the nineties, I had the tools, the creativity and the wherewithal, and the great good fortune to perform with these really talented collaborative storytellers, to create new stories on the stage every week. But it's been a long time, nearly two decades, since I've used that muscle regularly. The last fully improvised show that I was in, I think I did in 2010, and that was without this troupe of people I worked with different actors

@Tim

This sounds exhilarating, and I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me to live vicariously through you. You're bringing up memories of my own experiences and, yes, those feelings of imposter syndrome, but also the excitement of the fun of it, the challenge of it, and then the satisfaction of it afterwards. And I'm very happy for you, and I can't wait to hear more. I hope you decide to share more with us and just thank you

@Tim I knew you'd be fine 🙂 @SeekingPlumb

It just means you might be a little bit rusty sometimes. I said that three times now. Let's not say it again. I was going to say to you about improv also, you've inspired me because I did a community play recently, community theater, and it was all right. I didn't really enjoy it. The play was rubbish, the director was terrible. I kind of enjoyed being back on stage again, but I got bored because of all the other things I've mentioned
