Thoughts?

article image placeholderUploaded by @tiaromatta
They creep in your mind when you're aimlessly driving down the street. You know those drives when you've taken a million times and you're so used to driving that route it's almost automatic, and you kind of check out and your brain thinks these thoughts. What do you do with those thoughts? Do you write them down? Do you journal them? Do you push them back into the recesses of your brain? What do you do with them? It's a good question

I really enjoy this question because I think we all have these sort of thoughts sometimes or they come in phases. I struggle with obsessive thinking sometimes. And I think the only thing that helps, really, is to get it out of my head, to put it onto usually a page. I journal a lot. I'm a fan of doing free rights, just setting a 20 minutes timer. And the only rule being I can't lift my pen. I really enjoy that

Advice & Lessons learned from my personal experience …. thinking on "Thoughts?"

Do I still feel the need to harbor this feeling? And if I choose not to harbor this feeling anymore and it's coming up, going back to some of those blocks of time where and you can go back and say, okay, well, it relates to this feeling, and this is how I got over that. And now I can move past this feeling. But then that memory will come up, it'll trigger a different feeling

And I do go to therapy and counseling and get all of that out. But just once again, I just wanted to thank everybody for listening, and I hope you all have a wonderful, wonderful weekend. And once again, take care of yourselves mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Bye
