How to REALLY Apologize

article image placeholderUploaded by @ThriveLauraMonk
After it, acknowledge. Number two, acknowledge what you did. Three, state the effect it had on them. You can add why it hurts you to see them hurt in this stage. Number four, ask for forgiveness. And then five, promise that it won't happen again and state how you will do whatever you can to make sure it does not happen again. And then six, end with what you want them to feel. End with how you want them to feel

🌱 In this podcast I will be explaining how to really send an apology to someone. #apologize #love #advice #mentalhealth

This is in the era of the apology. It's a nice reminder to not do it through text and to just straight up acknowledge that you did something wrong. I think that's missing from a lot of good apologies or well, it is a good apology to lead with that, for that to be at the core of it and acknowledge the other person. But yeah. Thank you for your post. It was really great
