So this week I did a podcast episode discussing June 8, but I did it in a way where I'm sparking up conversations that still need to be had. So my whole point for exposing corporations or people that only celebrate these holidays just because it's trending is because these issues are ongoing issues and we should be continuing to have these conversations and to end issues that come with people just saying, oh, we just get over it

I know exactly what it says. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude shall exist within the United States except as a punishment where the party shall have been duly convicted of a crime. That's self explanatory. I mean, that's cut and dry. There's nothing esoteric about that. So I just don't see how it's they get the abolition of slavery from that
