Unsinkable

article image placeholderUploaded by @theheartdrive
My self liberating is a game of losses gained and lessons played to the beat of strife, stripping grief from hurt. My thin skinned naked and weak concealed. No place is safe from the politic of change, evolving inevitably, a process of getting real that's surprisingly unreal. A nasty, dirty deal, like stepping in s*** with your nicest heels. Not anger exactly. Not quite shock. Oh, come on, man. What the f***?

Moody poetry that doesn't give up read out loud by Arya. #unsinkable #poetry #loss #grief #animus #love #chymicalwedding

And then towards the end, it was, like, called unthinkable. And then you just went like, yeah, peace. That's just a reminder to me to never, ever, ever take my peace of mind for granted, but never to ever let anyone ever take that away from me. And you just drilled that back into my heart. Like, stay single and don't ever let anyone ever do that to you again, because, wow, that was just so powerful

This is very vivid. And the imagery is so vivid. I can actually picture in my mind this playing out on a, you know, maybe Game of Thrones type scenario. For some reason, that popped in my head. But it's very intimate and very, very vivid. So great poem

I have listened to this multiple times now and with each listen, I let it sink in a little bit more. This is so delicious. To me, it has that undercurrent of darkness to it sadness mostly. Change can be very difficult, and especially when you're talking about love. And to have something go from so loving to breaking your heart is an intense thing if the love was real

Thank you so much for your comment. That is a lovely reference. I love The Game of Thrones and, yeah, I guess it was very vivid. Sometimes the inner contemplations and landscapes of one's inner dramas take on a whole life of their own, and I like to portray that in poetry with full, vivid metaphor and make it come to life to transmit something. So I'm glad it resonated with you. And thank you so much for commenting

But there is this inner lover, this inner aspect of our own self and our own mind that is this unintegrated part of ourselves that we always look for in other people. So there was a specific situation that triggered this, right? There was a person, a real person, but there was a kind of a playing with this inner aspect of myself that gets projected onto other onto somebody outside myself and this back and forth

So, of course, now I'm going to have to go back and listen to it multiple times again with the context in mind. This is just so wonderful. I'm really, really thank you for inviting me to swell, because I'm really enjoying this, where I get to peer into the mind of different poets a little bit more. I can't wait to listen again
