Perfectionism

article image placeholderUploaded by @thefabchieftess
Perfectionism is often associated with other personality traits such as neuroticism and conscientiousness. People who are perfectionism are often neurotic and conscientious. Since these traits are linked to a tendency to be overly critical of oneself and other individuals, it can also be associated with certain mental health conditions such as depression and eating disorders. People who are perfectionism may be more likely to develop these conditions because they are more likely to be overly critical of themselves. Overall, perfectionism is a complex trait that has both positive and negative consequences

Wow. Yeah. Thank you for just talking about perfectionism and all the effects it has on our behavior, on our mental health and so many other things. Honestly, just really related when you said that perfectionism can lead us to not even doing the thing that we wanted to because we're just frozen in fear that our final product or what we do is not up to our perfect standards, which is unachievable in the first place
