Zeus in Egypt

They've also found a lightning Bolt painting, which is, of course, reference Zeus as he is. That is what he does from Mount Olympus. Pretty exciting, actually. There's a lot of documentation there. They're still going through it and they're still trying to decipher some of it and put the pieces together as is. This is completely undisturbed, which is amazing. As big as that area has gotten. We'll see what happens from this

That is such a cool finding and it really stirs the imagination to what people were doing back then. Why is there painting of a lightning Bolt? I love that image. I'm going to go search it up right now. Keep us updated to any anything else that comes out of this. Thanks

Yeah, it does, like, pose a lot of questions and cool visual images of like, was there a group that, you know, did they travel there somehow and decide to worship Zeus and secrecy, or were there other people that believed in Zeus over the Egyptian gods? Of course, we're all speculating on timelines and how old it is and all that, but to have a temple that's dedicated to Zeus, it's pretty old. I'm going to keep up on it

Hey, man, that's actually really cool. I didn't realize that. Did Zeus go that like back that far, like 4000 years or more to the times of the period? I guess he did. If they're saying that, I guess there's some merit to it in a way. It doesn't really surprise me though because they were into paganism, the Egyptians and they are right on the Mediterranean. There was always boats there. They always kind of did like travel

More info

There were many times sacrifices were made to Zeus. As they found back in August of 2016, they found a burial site that they later confirmed where sacrifices made to Zeus. Now, there's not much else known about this Emperor other than that he very much believed that the gods could help him do what others couldn't. So that's kind of the theory based on the findings and all that and based on the marks that he had
