21st Century Parenting

article image placeholderUploaded by @The3rdOWL
So I was thinking about what is 21st century parenting look like, and this was an attempt to just break the cycle, obviously. And I started thinking about, well, how could we break the cycle? And I thought about parents should start listening to their kids and then Furthermore, start looking at their kids as property

What does a 21st Century Parent look like when attempting to break the perpetual cycle of toxic parenting.

He bored me, but he was so in tune to children and their wants and their needs. And so they need to be heard. They don't need to just be fed and put expectations on them. That's what we do to our children right from the beginning. We have expectations as soon as they can walk. We're like, okay, you got to walk this way as soon as they can talk. You have to speak this way

How Difficult it is to become a new parent.

I think a lot of us as parents, we get caught up in thinking that basic things are met and that's good enough. And it's not you're talking about an entire other being like you're influencing the future in such a way through this person. How you damage them is how you perpetuate that toxicity into the future. So I kind of look at it as I want to enter into relationship with my kids where it's one, it's relational because they're individuals
