National Mall will be closed to everyone except media and security personnel on Inauguration Day
I was chaperoning a group of 8th graders on their trip to the capital, and there were just I mean, people know how crowded that one was in particular, but it was just incredible to see that amount of people in such a small amount of space. Really, when you think about it, I think this is the right call
So yes, they would have had a small inauguration anyway, but yes, it's not unusual. What's going on here? What I would have loved to have seen is then do the inauguration in the breathandra right where the protesters in the siege was taking place. It would have been a huge symbol of national pride to be able to just say this was sieged. We are coming back. We are America, and we stand on the ground that you once tried to take
