I challenge you all to watch this and not get emotional. Unbelievable work from Jamie Costa and Co
Can you watch this without a tear coming to your eye? It is a genuine question and a genuine challenge. This is test footage entitled Robin, created by YouTuber and actor Jamie Costa. You may recognize him from the Kenobi fan film that came out last year. Here we have this portrayal of the late great Robin Williams. And I have to say that this was a little bit hard to watch for me. So many of the mannerisms were scary, similar, his chuckle, the sorrow in his eyes

Hey, Taylor, it's your brother here. I watched this Robin test footage a couple of days ago when it aired, when it premiered on YouTube. And, yeah, Jamie Coster. He is absolutely phenomenal with impressions. He's got a TikTok page where he does a lot of that. And his Instagram page also does a lot of that. He's brilliant with his impersonations, but by far his most spot on impersonation is Robin Williams

Yeah. The actor Jamie Costa or a Costa. What a wonderful short performance. I thought this was biopic. A friend sent me this clip last night and watched it and I was blown away. I mean, they're going to have to do something with this now. I thought it was very clever of him to put this footage out there. I don't even know if Hollywood was thinking of a biopic of Robin Williams, but this definitely was very heartfelt

It's a very American attitude, I think actually, like, very entrepreneurial. But, yeah, it just kind of also just shows, like, the love that he clearly has for Robin Williams to be able to recreate him in such a way and deliver such a compassionate performance
And Dewana, I think you mentioned it like an SNL type impersonation, but this was something far more in tune with the cosmic world. I guess you could say it really felt like we were seeing a young Robin some of the ways that he managed to convey emotion and also a spectrum of emotion, very deep sadness and also a facade of joy and happiness immediately following it was something else. I really don't think that we see performances like that every day

Hey Taylor, thanks for posting this. I actually am linking an article about Zelda's response to getting this clip sent to her over and over again. I'd like to know what you think
I'm sure she knew that portrayals of her father was something that was going to happen at some point. I think Jamie was doing Robin Williams impersonations as far back as 2015. If I'm not mistaken, but you just have it like a barrage in your message box can't be a comfortable feeling. And certainly given the topic, as you mentioned, like it was a very sad day. I wouldn't want to be reminded of it either, because
