The movies that I've seen in the MCU, the few that I have that have come out since Endgame have been pretty darn bad. So I was really excited to see such positive reviews for this film. And yesterday I managed to go see it and I was left with a feeling that was very different from all of those positive reviews that I'd seen
Now, one of the big things for me about this film was, visually, I thought that it was a step down from some of the other Marvel entries that we've been given. And that's not to say that I think the Marvel films are all beautiful. I do think they're well done. But I do think that there's some problems sometimes with a CGI. Considering that there is a lot of CGI in this film
As a matter of fact, I wanted to look up his filmography and a couple is a stretch. Even I would say the Guardians of the Galaxy One is a genuinely good movie. And beyond that, I mean, the man made the Suicide Squad movie a couple of years ago. Come on. Anyways, check this clip out. Do you think he's just messing around? I certainly don't

And the reason for that being is because this movie being taking as long as it did to finally get completed as well as released, it feels like an outlier, like it feels almost out of sync with the rest of the MCU because it comes from a talent whose last movie with them was 2017. Well, there's that Christmas special, which I actually liked as far as the Guardians. And I remember when he was fired. And then there were people that was possibly going to be brought in
And so when you when you have a film like that, that leaves the sort of cultural impact that Guardians did, and you have a creative at the helm like James Gunn. I do think for everybody involved, for Theo audience, for the people working on the film, it's best to let that person sort of see out their vision. And so I am glad that, unlike the Star Wars trilogy that we just got, this one had the consistency of Gun throughout it

There's almost boxes to be checked with some of this stuff, and it's been seen with this to include Peacemaker and the Suicide Squad. And I've listened to him on my podcast and stuff, and he is one of those filmmakers, and I'm not saying this to knock him, but he is such almost a counterculture to what should be a list features or projects when you look at some of the things he's into
