South Dakota teachers scramble for dollar bills during a dehumanizing halftime show at a local hockey game. This is unacceptable.

In Falls, South Dakota, some teachers at I guess it was the amateur hockey game were on their hands in these center ranks during I think it was the halftime game where they all adorned helmets, and I guess each had a sack and $5,000 bills were thrown onto the floor, and they're on their hands and knees, picking as much up as they can within the timeline limit

Things that make you go "hmm."

The dollar and what we're willing to do for it and those who get it, as you said, the defense bill 771,000,000,000. But that's the American way. We've been the number one leader almost since the onset of a country in defense. So it's not even shocking. It's actually normal. It's normalized for us to spend billions upon billions and billions of dollars trillions on defense. So when I hear stuff like that, it's not shocking at all

Is this a giant PR campaign?

And I don't know what is done in those situations, but every time that that comes home, my question is, what do we pay property tax for? What's the issue here? If we pay property tax and that money goes to the schooling, why is there not enough? Do we need to fund this better? Do we need to budget it better? Do we need to look at where we're spending that money?

I taught at very privileged schools. Yeah, I don't know. It's an interesting one. I do think that the pressure that is placed on teachers really drives them to do some crazy things. And I think that that's what we're seeing here
