Good morning, people. I know I haven't done a swell in a while, and so I'm just jumping in, and I just wanted to be transparent in this moment. I have a problem, and maybe you have the same problem, too. My problem is I don't know how to put me first, okay? I'm laughing because at some point, it wasn't funny. It wasn't because I was burning myself out trying to overstand and overdo for other people
Like I felt to not want to do my duties in my house as a mom, as a wife, or just as a woman, period, because it was something wrong. And it took me to get to the root of my problem or find out what was wrong. And something was wrong with me. I was doing too much, but not doing too much without doing too much. And I was like, you know what? Something got to give

Wow. The one thing I have to say in hearing this conversation, first of all, is sending both of you props for just being in the space of wanting to prioritize and knowing the cost of not prioritizing yourself over those you care for and love. And I'm just going to share the nap ministry because these women say it better than I do

And this kind of ties back into so many other different things and implications because we're taught that we label ourselves and we're taught with labels and boxes, and we're taught the and or of things, and we're taught to put others first in front of ourselves and to sacrifice for others because that is a worthy path. And all of these other things that we're taught about. And a lot of these things, I'm not saying these are faulty or defective teachings
And I think that is so important. And so I'm just so grateful even in this moment when I made this swell, I'm so grateful that I was able to be aware of where I was mentally. And I know, like you said, a lot of us are not able to do that. And if we are, sometimes it's too late because we're too far in. We're drowning in things that are happening
