I think what this definition missing is that happiness isn't everything and that it isn't a definitive factor in having a satisfactory or peaceful life. Here the book says showing pleasure and contentment. However, even people with depression and anxiety feel such things regularly. But does that mean these people have an amazing life just because they feel contentment on a regular basis, laugh or just look happy? No, I don't think just because of this they have an amazing life
