Introducing Talking Circles on Swell

article image placeholderUploaded by @DBPardes
So over time, the Swell casters with whom you don't interact, their faces go away, they disappear, and they're replaced with the ones that you're actively talking with. So in this image, it sort of gives you a sense of how to grow your talking circle. So right now, if you go to your home page, you'll see this talking circle in your interface, and it's really cool, and it keeps you in touch with the people that you're vibing with

Ever changing, always growing - these circles are created by you! #SwellTipsFromSwell

Hey, Deborah. Sounds like a really cool feature. I have been on swell, I guess, three months now, one full quarter, or almost a full quarter. And I am enjoying it and have noticed, especially on the invite section, I've noticed a trend where it will pick up people I've had conversations with or were recently active with. I believe in some way it's worded where it's like, hey, you've talked with this person

If you pay attention, it is your circle, and it shows all the people that I interact with. I started laughing because I'm not one of those people that won't admit when I see something, when I don't see someone like, oh, yeah, that's cool. I got chips. That's not happening. When if I would have put my glasses on, I would have thought it. So I had to laugh out loud because I'm a mess

Hello. Good morning. Wow. It's a wonderful feature. I have really talked to with my same genre friends, and it's a great feature. Really?

Thanks for talking about that. I am incredibly new to Swell, so this is, I believe, just a feature that I associate with Swell as I'm like learning more about this application. I when you were describing it, it kind of reminded me of my MySpace I know eons ago in my space I think that you could list your top six or something like that and maybe Facebook in its early days had something like that as well and I like that

Hey, Deborah. Good morning. Eric here. I'll look for the talking circles on my profile. I tried the home button and the profile button on my phone. I do not see it anywhere. So I'm looking in the wrong place, or it just hasn't updated on mine yet. So I'll let you know that. Have a great weekend

Great feature 👏

Oftentimes I know I've mentioned before that sometimes I really just don't want to interact or respond to as well as I feel like it's a conversation that has passed. I don't know if that makes sense, but let's say a conversation was started two weeks ago and the last response was two weeks ago for me. Sometimes I personally don't respond to them because I feel like, hey, the conversation has passed

Hi, Eric. If you go to the home tab on your app, you should see it right there. It's right below the invitations and mentions section. I am showing you a screenshot from my phone right now. I hope this helps

Love this feature

Hey, Deborah, thank you so much. You know, I need to get back on Swell. I just we're so busy with our soap pop up. We're just going full out with the this is the season in where you sell probably 80% of your soap for the whole year. So pretty important time for us. But, I'm very interested in swell. I just have to change some of my patterns and scheduling to make sure that I make time for Swell

Hey, Greg. Just wanted to congratulate you on the growth of your company. I know you mentioned it a while back, and it's so exciting to see the photo. I'm just so appreciating it. And yet, best of luck to you in terms of promoting it and having it grow and anything that we could do as a community here. You got it. So congrats

Going to start replying to those who have commented on my swells

That's what I'm going to do today. After I finished responding back to this talking circles on Swell, I'm going to respond back to her. And she's not only her, but a few people invited me to some of the Slow, so I'm going to actually reciprocate the engagement. Happy to be here. I kind of want to see where this is going to go. And I hope that this feature makes Swell how do I say this? Improves. Right?

The point here also is to reply to other conversations, even though there's a temporal way of engaging with somebody replying two weeks ago. Because I consider the final product here is the quality of your conversation to share something tougher to the word or fresh. I mean, you can choose your own format. In my case, you was looking for the right tool to develop a podcast. That's why I'm here

Hey, Jose. I'm sitting in an airport, and I just listened to your swell, and I just wanted to thank you for being so responsive and so connected to the sort of the value it brings to you and sharing that with us. And I'm just it just means so much much to me and the team, and I just wanted to make sure that you knew that

Hi therea. Thanks for the kind words and support in your reply. It really means a lot to me that the group of people that are involved in the the development of the app are very talented and with a lot of things to say. I hope that you had a very nice trip and I'm taking the opportunity to invite you to reply to my second intervention in my profile. I hope you like it and good night. That will be all for today. Today

Why am I alerted that they're now the top in my talking circle all of a sudden? Maybe they responded and deleted the reply, but I didn't get the notification. So, yeah, just a little bug I think I found because, you know, I pay attention to these things for for Swell's behalf. I work for free for the platform, apparently

@FryedOreo

Hey, Dewuan, thank you for telling us about that. I just posted it in QA. Yeah, my talking circles swell. Pretty accurate. There might be lag time and it might be cued to activity of the person you're talking to and what they're doing separate from the conversation you were in with them. Let me find out and we'll find out. I'm glad you're aware of it because it helps us. Thank you

@DBPardes

It's reflecting those people in the front of the talking circle, whereas the frequent people who I'm actually talking with in recent times, they're kind of not prioritized in the front for too long. But hey, I know the difference, right? It's it's a helpful gesture for people. It's probably better for new people more than anything else. But anyway, let me get ten to these kids. So thanks for getting back to me
