Calling all Swellcasters - Tag your favorite Swell from 2022!
So it's going to be really cool to have this list grow. Thanks so much for creating all these amazing Swell casts this year. It's been so amazing. The conversations have been wonderful. And I know it may be tough to choose just one to be your best for 2020, but that's a really good problem to have. So happy hunting. I'm so looking forward to seeing this list grow and listening to the swells that I might have missed. Thanks

So the swell that I've tagged, so when you go to look for you can find it more easy, is about a football game that I talked about. I talk about all the football games for the Patriots in anyways, big sports fun, as maybe you know. But this particular game was between the Patriots and the Raiders

And it also kind of helps in its own right because when somebody spends nearly 30 years of their life being a part of your life, how do you summarize that? What could you possibly say even if you had the time? So what I said to him was fitting. It definitely brought it all full circle. And I didn't say much, but I said what needed to be said. And that's all we can ever do for people that we appreciate and do so much for us

And I did follow the instructions, and I went back to that original Swell of Dust Food Havi Race, which was a delightful engaging conversation between myself and other Swell casters about culture, religion, race, and the influence on food. And I did go back to that original Swell and added the hashtag Best of 2022, as instructed
This was a tall order. I mean, how does one define best? Are we talking ugly selfie best? Are we talking glitter pooping jellyfish? Or the Willy Wonka lab coming up with ridiculous kinds of candies or something? After quite some deliberation, I think I've come up with something. It will be interesting to see all of the different contributions. Thank you for this. Well

The best, as they say, is always yet to come. So it's incredibly difficult to self appraise a prize and say, look, I really felt good, because I feel good. And that's why I swell cast or podcast. I feel good about each and every one of them. In fact, I do not post an episode if I'm not convinced, if I have not enjoyed the process, and that's what keeps me going

So I recently just saw this phone pass, and I thought this was interesting and kind of fun to do. It's kind of like a great way to self reflect on what you think is the best work and makes you rethink what your definition of best means. I mean, I've seen a lot of people down below in the reply just saying, like, you know what? What do you define best to mean? For me, how I chose
And third, I'm a little emotional while I say this. I dedicate this episode to Nightmare, a pet, a cat pet, because he's no more with us. He's moved on a couple of weeks ago. It still hurts. But on a positive note, he gave us so much love. We gave him so much love. He got a smile to everyone's face, not just our home, but everyone in theo society that we live in

I think that's a platform working the way I hope it was intended to work as, which is have better conversations with people who have had all sorts of experiences and all sorts of wisdom and knowledge. And I absolutely loved that entire Swell, even when I was vehemently disagreeing with a few people. But it was so good, so, so good to emerge as a better person as a result of that. So, yes, that's my best of process within creativity

But the selfie one was also pretty incredible because having people shared their inhibitions and just be in the moment and take a selfie. And even if it looks like a potato that has seen some stuff, it's okay, we share it. Also, another one that I liked was the one you did on Philosophy being dead. And the entire Swell thread, it was very validating for me to hear it because I did, as you know, we talked it out in detail. So it was nice

Because the philosophy one was on my narrow down list as well. Maybe I will toot my own horn and do a best of Seeking Plum 2022 and throw Theo in there. The the pooping glitter. The glittering poop and Theo ugly selfies. And the philosophy is dead. And a few others. And I have been inspired never ceases to happen. Of new thoughts and new things I'm learning and the great conversations that we've had. I'm very glad that we met. Even if it started over

It was one that I did, actually, just a few months ago in September, and it was about a little girl named Malia Mercado. Well, she was kind of the highlight, but Theo Swell itself was about courage and fear, and this little girl embodying what I thought courage and bravery is, and I posted a screenshot of a video that she had posted, and this particular screen grab is really it's just wonderful. I love it. It's kind of Norman Rockwellish
