Post your first Swell

Firstly, the most important thing you do on Swell is to start your own Swell cast by posting your first Swell. This is super easy. Simply go to the Talk tab and tap on the Start a new Swell button. You will get a simple form as shown here, that you can fill out and record your first audio post. Submit this post and then you are off to the races. People will be able to hear it and reply to you

Reply to other Swells

People appreciate new voices in their conversations, so go ahead, don't be shy replies that the best part of Swell and the more you reply, the more people will reply to your Swells

Share your Swellcast

Once you start your Swellcast, you should also share it so people can listen to you outside of the Swell app. You may not know this, but your Swell cast also has its own website. It's at swellcast.com. Your username. Anyone can listen to your Swells here without downloading the app. You can also share a Swell from the app by exporting a 32nd video clip or a link to the Swell

No coordination of calendars and no scheduling is necessary. One other use case that is worth mentioning is that many people in Swell like to start their own hashtag series where they post consistently on a particular topic and use one hashtag for it. One more bonus tip for all you new swell casters. When you do your first swell post, just add the hashtag hashtag Firstswell in the post title so that the swell community can easily find it and engage. It's that simple. That's all you need to do.
