Why can’t we let our sons cry

Hello everyone. Today my question is largely pertaining to the expression of emotions, particularly by the boys in our family. I would really like to hear from you people. What's your take on this? Why can't we just allow the boys in our surrounding boys in our family to express themselves, to express their fears, to express their pain, psychological trauma so openly? Why can't we just let them cry out of their system?

And in the process we feel that only happy is good and sad is bad. Smiling is good and crying is bad. But if crying is going to help me remove everything that I'm holding within myself, the crying is therapeutic, right? So I think it's a larger problem. It's not just related to boys or men. But like you rightly said, if I just narrow it down to the gender problem, then that's the society we have not made crying normal in general

He's not allowed to express himself like a girl. He can't be just crying out. When you have a death in the family, it's like a boy has to project himself as a very strong person. So my idea was that why a man can't just be crying and letting out his emotions, which he keeps on suppressing. And just because of that a lot, many times boys tend to become more apathetic, they tend to become more inexpressive in dealing with these situations

It said in the process of making women feel empowered, we forgot to teach our sons how to handle the empowered woman, how to respond to these empowered women, right? And men are more and more now feeling the pressure of it. They are not able to handle it more. But I personally feel, and I like to see the brighter side of things and see the silver lining. And I believe that if I want to walk towards a certain thing, I need to start with a mindset first
