Epigenetics a twist in tale

article image placeholderUploaded by @Swatiselflove
Hello, everyone. Cells are the building blocks of our body, and genes is kind of a blueprint that we get in inheritance. And these genes often decide how we are going to grow further in our lives in terms of our health, in terms of our intellectual capacity, our emotional capacity, how we are going to grow, in terms of resisting a large number of diseases that we have unfortunately inherited from our ancestors in our genetic code. But is it possible for us to control these genetic diseases?

Because whatever it is, we cannot deny this fact that every disease begins in or because of our thoughts. I have seen this so many times. I've given this example, like, the more we think, oh, my God, tomorrow I have to go to a party. So I should not get a pimple. But, you know, the poor thing is that our subconscious does not know the definition of no. So he just starts working in such a way

Because we find it so very convenient that every time we get a disease at a young age, whether it's diabetes or hypertension, people have this tendency to say that just because my parents were suffering from this disease, I got this disease, you could have done something about yourself, you could have taken the right kind of measures

And that is possible. I have seen people do that, and you very rightly gave that example of twins, that one of them gets the disease and the other one does not. If that is happening, then obviously the others can take that example and work on their cells, on themselves, and get rid of the chance for that disease to happen. So I think you have rightly given so many good examples and explained this in so much detail that it is surely going to help us all

You have spoken about epigenetics. Maybe you can also search about nutrigenomics. And second concept is basically the relation of food with the nervous system. And there's one specific nerve called the vagus nerve. This is the only nerve in the body which responds and sends signals to the human brain after consuming food. So that's why there is a concept of vegetarian and non vegetarian food

And this is what I believe in, that you need to change your thought process. You need to be seeing this world from an entirely new perspective. You need to embrace positivity, more of positivity in your life if you are to live, lead a better life. Thank you so much for listening to this and thank you so much for sharing such wonderful views

Whatever we are consuming, I keep on reading about it. That whatever you are consuming, whether it's a packaged food, you need to read the label first. Because a lot of ingredients that are going into the making of those packaged food, we are not even aware of. We are somewhere oblivious to the fact that those ingredients could be damaging our brain somewhere. And it could be bringing about a lot of changes in our behavioral aspect, our thought processes

And something that the medical system right now doesn't educate us about is that disease is really, really influenced by, as you mentioned, behavior and our environment. And our medical system is built in such a way that we are only catching people at the point that the disease is already expressed. But we are not making a focus on the fact that it can be prevented by changes that you can take yourself. So, for example, when it comes to skin cancer, you can inherit a genetic predisposition

They can only give us those medicines or those therapy which can help us combat that disease, but they don't address the underlying root cause that is causing that disease. So we have to understand that, how powerful our mind is, how much our mind is influencing the entire functioning of our inner well being. And we have to take care of our mindset
