Is empty mind really devil’s workshop

You cannot stop the thoughts. Thoughts will keep coming. But we visualize thoughts as an outsider, not as something which belongs to us. As a third party. We see the thoughts when we practice mindfulness. So if the thoughts are not in the mind, the mind is empty. And is it really the devil's workshop now? Or is it something that you really look forward to? Because empty mind makes you a peaceful person

The original Adage isn't an empty mind is a devil's workshop. It is an idle mind is a devil's workshop. So if it was talking about empty mind, yes, the court needs to be changed. But the Adage, the court is about mind that is not really doing anything consciously, right? It is choosing not to work, it is choosing not to think. It is choosing to just be lazy and be unproductive

Well, hey, thank you so much for your swell. I don't think it's about emptying your thoughts or your mind. It's about staying idle. Because when you don't do anything, your mind is filled with all the negative thoughts that you can imagine, which is really bad, which is why you should always be busy. You should always keep doing something, read something, or engage yourself in something. Emptying your thoughts is really good exercise

Hi there. I agree with Binati. It is an idle mind that is a devil's workshop. And empty mind is actually everybody's goal, you know, especially on the spiritual path. You definitely want to get your mind empty so that you are at peace with yourself. Right? And it's an empty mind. That is the treasure trove of possibilities. Yeah, so that's what I wanted to say

I feel empty mind is really a devil's workshop because for once, my dad has this thing that he cannot stay I mean, that's not a problem, but it's just the thing that he cannot stay free for a long time

So when our mind is really empty, we can actually think more logically, we can actually think more artistically. And I have actually felt that there were times when I was so busy, so plotted, that I could not think anything which ruined that task. So I think having a clear mind is very important because nothing is a waste of time. You actually think a lot of things in that period also

Hi Suruchi. I agree with some of your statements, but I think we only kept ourselves busy to distract our mind. So the court is for that purpose only. So if we distract ourselves from that I thought we can overcome that

A body that is healthy will think, will have thoughts. So identification is the root cause of the problem. So what we need is not to stop the thoughts or shut down the mind. What we need is to de identify, to depersonalize ourselves with the thoughts and there's a whole process, there's a whole, what do you call sadna to do that

Such a beautiful topic and I I think that yeah, we cannot be without thoughts, okay? We are human beings. It's normal for us to think. If we won't think at all, why will we be called human beings? Right? So it's normal to think, but it's not normal to think. Like all the rubbish, all the time

And you know, after a certain point of the day, after a certain point of a time in a day, I feel so depressed. I started thinking negative things in my life because I have tried to control myself a lot, try to keep myself busy, but it was not possible at that time period. So it just trapped me. All the negative things actually trapped me. And it was really a very disaster time period for me
