I've also done cranial sacral therapy as well, general massage as well, and I recognize that there is privilege in being able to access these services. I am currently still able to access them, though I am not making a lot of not generating a lot of income right now, and I am grateful for the folks that are offering me these services for free or at very reduced cost. That said, I want to focus on just what are some of the ways that we can respond to body

So from there I learned of the power of taking a really nice bath and how the properties of water. I don't want to say that there are healing properties because water is not going to cure anything that you have, but hot water and soaking and Epsom salt. They really did help me. I tried to make it a ritual, and I realized that there's a level of privilege to that because I went many years without having the ability to access the tub

And I just have to add your post really caught my eye because of the stargazer Lily that you posted. I have one tattooed on me. It's my mom's favorite flower, and coincidentally, it's also a flower that's very poisonous for for cats. I had to find that out the hard way. So if you have a cat around and you have a stargazer Lily around, be careful

Wow, Taylor, thank you for sharing about your own experiences. I recognize some parallels with my own life around back injury, back pain. I was also somebody who, as a teenager, suffered. There's not really one experience I can point to that led to all of my back issues. But ever since then, I've been someone living with chronic back pain. And like you said, it just literally radiates out pain wise and also impacts mental health
