Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

article image placeholderUploaded by @Sumranjs
The plot elements ride carefully over the riptides of racism, domestic violence, prejudices of the society and aspects of other social issues, while at the same time unleashing the wild, savage and dark side of nature in an attempt to deliver a poetic justice, all within the confines of feather and fireflies

Hello. I really appreciate this very discerning review of the book. It's been on my to be read list for a long, long while now and quite literally everyone who has read the book has only had great things to say about it. Personally, I feel I should definitely give it a read because I am very intrigued by literature that is focused around the man versus nature, the interrelationship of man and nature

And as I mentioned in my swell towards the end, you should definitely go for the book and not the movie because the movie does not do any justice whatsoever in my personal opinion. It doesn't even come near the depth and breadth of the book, so that's my opinion. But I would definitely want to check out your thoughts once you have had the chance to read the book. And as you mentioned, we can definitely have a discussion on that. I would really love that

Hey, summer on. I just wanted to thank you for tagging the old swell and inviting me to this one. It was such a beautiful review you just gave. It just brought me back to the book and to the movie, of course. And I just appreciate your poetry around everything that you speak of. It's just wonderful. Thank you. Thank you so much

Hello and thank you so much for sharing this with me. I have never heard of Where The Crawdads Sing before now and your review makes me want to check

Hello, and thank you for inviting me here. Thank you for sharing this review with me. I've never heard of Where the Crawdads Sing before now, but your review definitely makes me want to check it out, and I definitely will. I especially love the intro and ending song, such a peaceful melody that I needed at a time in a certain chaos that I have in my life right now. I don't do too well with topics of racism, but I will give it a try

Hi, Sumranjs. Thank you so much for inviting me to this very lovely poetic book review. It's so interesting because I bought this book, I don't know, six months ago, and I have not cracked it open, so the universe must be coaxing me to read it. And now I definitely want to more than ever after the this review. It just sounds so lush and beautiful, and this idea of nature as medicine is something I try to weave into my writing

I was just catching up on replies to my swell about where the crowd dad sing when I was in the middle of reading it and it was so exciting to see you link to this beautiful review. Thank you so much for sharing it. It gave me a deeper appreciation for the prose in this book, which I said in my swell that I sometimes felt like it lingered. It was very slow moving and I wanted it to pick up the pace sometimes and I think lean more into that thriller element
