Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro
While on one hand we have nostalgia of some of the most memorable and precious moments, on the other hand there is a sense of excitement about what is in store ahead. There is a characteristic restraint that the narrator has developed through his profession, which then gets projected onto the reader through the use of highly formal language and dialogue, feeling each subject of his introspection and his interactions with the all wide array of characters in a layered and textured manner

You know, I read Never Let Me Go by Him, and I really enjoyed it, and I always meant to check out more of his work. So I think this is a sign, because I really like what you were saying about the book, but I think I also really just liked your review. Yeah. So thank you. Thank you for that

Thank you so much for this beautiful review. I find your review so helpful and soothing. So thank you. I loved listening to this review in particular because this is one of those novels that has been on my ToreB list for years and years. I too, like the other Soulcaster, have read never let me go. I had to read it for college and I really enjoyed it at the time

Hi. Thank you so much for listening to the review and for your reply. So you're curious if this is about exotentialism and about asking big questions about life and its meaning. In my opinion, the book has quite a few layers which need a bit of peeling to understand its full impact
