The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd

article image placeholderUploaded by @Sumranjs
The tedious proceedings of the bees and the adult humans, as seen from the point of view of the young narrator, provide the noise treatment which is affectionate and heartwarming, making this a really elegant prose crafted with full of precision and heart. At the end of the day, we all need a mother and her arms around us, keeping us warm and kissing our worries away, and we feel nurtured. And that's not a secret, but you may learn it anyway from the secret life of peace

Ron. This was so beautiful and what a beautiful view. It just took me back to the book. I loved it so much. I read it a few years ago, and I think the way you position this on this very special day of International Women's Day is beautiful as well. One of the things I got from that book as well is this intermingling of aesthetic between the organization of those bees and the disorganization of society
