The direction was superb, and I could see how the visual medium helped me walk it over his shoes and his cathalysis. More importantly, it did justice to his wife Sonia, making her more flesh and bones than how she was depicted in the novel. It was impossible for me to accept such a flawless otherworldly angel disguised as a human being in the novel. I think the director must have read my mind and gave her the life she deserved
