Interpreter of Maladies

Another fact I noticed is that all of them focus more on the female characters, describing them much more, giving them much more space than their male counterparts. This might be deliberate and intentional, and it does reflect strongly in the ethos as well as the pathos of the character. I would give it a four out of five. I wish I can change my mind. Maybe after reading it again in the future. But for now, happy reading. Bye

Jumpalahi's Namesake also deals with exactly the same premise, and I did find a lot of similarities between the two books. My personal favorites in the book were the titler story Interpreter of Maladies followed by the treatment of Bbhalder and The Third and Final Continent in that particular order. I'd really love to know which were the stories in the collection that stood out for you. And yes, I look forward to more of your book recommendations and reviews. So yeah. Cheers

@Ramya

I think I posted this and the other review as part of the book review week. So go check it out, see, hope you like it or whatever. You think you can reply to that post as well. Besides that, I have other recommendations of the books that I have read recently over the last year and I would be posting them here, I guess, pretty soon as a one by one
