Gender/identity assumptions

article image placeholderUploaded by @studentlife
But it's, like, so ingrained into people's minds that if you have b**** or you have a higher voice, obviously you're a woman, which is, like, totally understandable. I totally get it because that's how he's been conditioned for generation after generation after generation before the idea of gender fluidity and non binary was really like a thing. And so I get it

#nonbinary

Yup. And it is the most exhausting thing that I have to contend with on any given day. If you would like to know more, you may have to give me some time so that I can put together my thoughts in the most efficient way possible

P.S. there are infinite ways to be nonbinary & all representaiom matters

And I hope this doesn't sound depressing, but I spend most of my time with myself in my own space or just going and doing things like outside, where I'm not going to have to have too much interaction and be misgendered. And that's not for everyone. I'm not saying it's necessarily what I recommend, but it's helped me a lot

Thank you so much for that. You know, what's really interesting is I agree with you, and I actually had the same experience where, you know, I was always is labeled as a, quote unquote tomboy, or people would, like, make jokes about me being a, quote unquote lesbian, which is super offensive to so many communities and myself

Also, I think it's great that you are out and you're going to school. Like, I don't know. That's something that is very dreadful for me personally, at least right now, just because of like, my dysphoria with my chest. I think after that maybe I'd be more comfortable. But yeah, I'm sure I would imagine school brings up a lot more as far as being misgendered and the pronouns and everything

But about your question with the identity, I don't necessarily have a gender. I've always associated myself as a man. I've always been nothing with my gender per se. But I've always been like, oh, am I interested in women sexually? Which I'm not. I've always found women wrote like beautiful and attractive, honestly more than men. And so I don't think that necessary to do anything. It's just me being Floyd of women and their beauty

But then, like, recently in this last year, my school has adopted this really cool thing where you can actually change your pronouns on your student page and your pronouns will pop up on the student roster, which is, like, really important because it kind of, like, forces the instructors to respect your pronouns without, like, regardless of their opinion about it

That's so funny that you bring up that point about people being triggered because there's this like stereotype with Conservatives and people who like refuse to adopt like a newer fashion way of thinking that like we're the ones who are triggered all the time and like people who advocate for social equity or the ones that are sensitive and triggered

I just feel like I should live my own life and I don't care about those things that make me actually feel so depressed. And to be very Frank, I just feel these things like other people recognitions and all other people miss leveling. This is just like to all of them. I just need to tell please grow up. Please. Like who are you to mislead someone else? Please Ave your own life and don't just like go and put your nose in everyone's business
