The Gift

You the gift. The gift was not tied with the ribbon or even wrapped. It came in the form of a beautiful young woman with big blue eyes who walked into my life and showed me how to receive love, who made me feel feelings I'd never felt before. Paternal protective of and awakened. Thank you

It. Hey there. I really enjoyed this. And one of the really cool things was the length of it. I think that it made it even more impactful. But this idea that someone's openness or vulnerability or even just their presence can bring out latent aspects of us that were always there. They were just waiting to be, as you said, awakened. So cool. Loved it

Hey there, Dom. It's Nissa and I really like this poem. I like how you keep your poem short and you show restraint but it gives such a resonant feeling to me as like the audience, as a listener, it was quite impactful and the way that you just have so much power in your words even though it's, I imagine, just one stanza, that is not an easy feat
