So to start off, I would love to hear the story of how you got involved in the cannabis industry. You have such an interesting array of experience and a more wondering where all began for you

Now that you've been in the cannabis industry for a number of years, I'm curious from your perspective what one of the challenges of being in the industry currently is, and also what you see as one of the opportunities, especially for women who are interested in leadership roles in the industry

Lastly, I'm so curious about your experience with the Illinois Women in Cannabis. It just seems like such an incredible organization. And I'm wondering whether it's with that organization or the cannabis industry in general, if you have learned any significant lessons since you've joined the industry, and if there's anything over this next year that you're most looking forward and the work that you do

So it's just as well. So there are so many challenges in the cannabis industry, from navigating law and regulation to ending stigma and ensuring that cannabis is accessible and fairly priced. And then when we talk about being a female in the cannabis industry, there shouldn't be a glass ceiling on an industry so new

One of the things I think that has been most impactful in learning is about mindfulness and health and wellness and making sure that while all of this chaos is taking place around you, that you're able to maintain some steadiness within yourself to be able to navigate the industry in a way that allows you to show up in all of these spaces with a level head representing the industry very well, being able to share information with those that are hungry and interested in really building community around cannabis and connecting

Gina, thank you so much for taking the time to share a bit more about your experience in the industry. And thank you for all the work you're doing as far as advocating for women in the cannabis industry. I am am really looking forward to hopefully talking with more folks who get to watch and listen to your session called how to Cultivate a Candidate Career. I'm linking to it here if you come across it and please, I out there. Let's keep the conversation going
