It upsets them because in their mind, you're supposed to be miserable because you're single. You're supposed to be unhappy because you're single and I'm not. And it kind of shatters their reality because maybe they could have been happy single, but they chose not to because they were too afraid of the stigmatism. The stigma. I don't know what I'm saying today. The stigma against single women and also just being alone
Oh my goodness. Amen another single friend of mine, and I talk about these issues all the time. I kind of think of some of these things as like propaganda of the one, this completing of oneself with another human and then the need to have to somehow find that person and fulfill ourselves, complete ourselves. And there's so many ideas wrapped up in this night

And sometimes I don't do it, I don't feel like it, and I don't have to emotionally caretake anybody else. Whereas single men in the studies are really unhappy because they're not being looked after. They don't cope well on their own. They need another person. Single women live longer than married women. Married men live longer than single men. All the research, man, I think you need to find different friends, really
So how can a woman find what she's looking for if a man is raised to be the opposite? And how can a man find what he's looking for if she's you know what I mean? And then to see this sort of ripple out in the research is interesting as well. How interesting? I think I just said that

At the risk of sounding like an elitist, I do think that if you're a man and you can't cut in life, you don't deserve a family. You don't deserve a legacy. You don't deserve to have a woman have your kids. If you can't pay and take care of a woman, you don't deserve her giving birth to your children. And so a lot of men weren't able to make it because women didn't want to date them

I didn't make friends with them. I didn't choose them. And then all of a sudden, you're bringing them into my life with the assumption that we're just going to get along. And what really upsets me is when I turn up to something, like a date or an arrangement with a friend, and they bring their other half with no warning. It's not like, yeah, John and I will see you at the coffee shop

They want to suck the life out of you. They do not want a mutualistic loving relationship. They don't want that. And the women who are wise enough to see that opt out. And it just really frustrates me because they make it our problem when they are the problem. So if a man doesn't get married and have kids the way he wants, it's his fault. Whereas if a woman doesn't, it's because of the fault of men
