What’s your Relationship to QR codes?

article image placeholderThe second life of the QR code
They spent a ton of money, but they got a ton of equity from that. People started downloading their app because of their QR code, so we know it works. So what are your thoughts and how do you see QR codes entering into different spaces that you engage with right now

And then you're making it an entirely tech forward experience. So there are problems with it, there are benefits to it. I think we need to kind of talk about both of those and see if there's a way that we can make it easy even better than it is

It's probably no surprise, but I whats your relationship to QR codes whatsoever? The last time I think I used one was when I bought a mouse trap and this particular Mousetrap was high tech and you had to scan a QR code to register said product to be able to use it for your WiFi. So you can be told when a mouse goes that ends the trap

QR code to a Swell :)

So just the fact that everybody is now familiar with using a camera phone and using a camera, it becomes a very intuitive and easy way to interact with the world around you. I like them. I think there's a lot of potential for marketing, for convenience, for just businesses to use to make things easier to tell us point about accessibility and especially devices which are not capable of that even in the older four, even pre iOS eleven. I think other devices as well

I think we just have to keep in mind that and technology advances and some people get left behind, and oftentimes they're like low income rural communities. Yeah, but love cure codes

Obviously, less things are being printed, but also just the ability to get used to this kind of communication from other people, from institutions so that we can have immediate access to information in a way that's really targeted. So I think this conversation is going to feel weird in three years because we're going to be like, what QR codes? Who cares? Just QR codes? And like, they're going to be as ubiquitous as everything else
