And they make this cute little pitter patter sound with their feet and then their beaks as they eat. But then the Magpies, blue jays. And there's now a crow. I haven't decided what I'm naming the crow yet, but they come on a regular basis and they all get along. It's like chill. Super chill. Anyway, I'm now finding that if I'm around the building outside of my place, they seem to recognize me and will get closer to me

And then the other part of my family teases me on is if I do now, I found a really good family that they take him in, and they're much cheaper, and they spend much more quality time with him. But when I have boarded him in the past at, like, a pet resort, the one that we use, they have a feature where they read him a bedtime story and tuck him in. You got to pay $20 extra per day for that
Otherwise, he has a long list of nicknames I call him. And it's just easier, I guess, to tell anybody else when I'm talking about him, my boy or my furry four legged kid or my kitty. Then it is, for whatever reason, to use real name. If it's somebody who knows them, then I'll just call him Bart. But I don't know, just this weird aversion to the name. Okay. That pet resort is amazing

And people abuse pets and I get upset and like, why aren't you taking the pet? Do dog, cat, whatever animal you have to the vet. Vets are expensive, swell duh, but you need to take care of your pet. So I think it's a personal responsibility, like if you want to be a pet owner that you need to own your responsibilities and take care of. And so, yeah, I'm going to get a pet eventually. My nephew has two police dogs

Because my husband and I had been reading this article about the local humane society having so many black cats and black dogs that weren't adopted, and we would just say, oh, you're so lucky, you get this loving home and you're such a special black Dog. And for whatever reason, Black Dog stuck. And I think everybody calls her Black Dog. Even people who visit our house call her Black Dog

Anyway, I completely fill you because although I chose and paid to get a dog and we've had pets, like, my whole life, we've had dogs of many different breeds, like, my whole whole life. We've had fish before, but they're very low maintenance, to be honest

She's 13. And Eddie is guessing maybe 1415. But you would never know Eddie's age, man. He's a maniac at the dog park. And they're both little. Eddie is like a pug Chihuahua, something maniac crazy dog. And Lydia is a long hair Chihuahua. And I just looked in their eyes. And dogs have this ability to connect with people. They say that developmentally, dogs are pretty much like around toddler age, like two years oldish

Like a boy dog, I guess. Could be Snow White. Anyway, but I corrected him in the moment, was like, try again. He's a boy. And he was like, okay, what about Snowy? And I was like, let's go for it. But no. I like the Ritchie rich and I love German shepherds. They are fascinating dogs

I saw her walking her dog once and she was on the phone and I wasn't was right on her heels intentionally. I really didn't want to talk, but I was right on her heels intentionally and she pointed to her phone, like, I want to call. And I was like, oh, I know. I just want to speak to you, and I want our dogs to talk. I think she got the hint from that, though

About your black dog story, all I have to say is oh, my God. That is a human being with some severe issues. Wow. Oh, my goodness. I just can't even respond. Okay, I'm just going to leave it at that, because I was, like, in awe that there's people on the planet with that many issues. So I'm sorry that you have to live in the same neighborhood. They bring a lot of joy into your life, and they're worth every moment of it. I am most definitely a pet person. I try to spend time with them, they sleep with me, that sort of thing. They just add a really nice element to your life. And I think it's important. I think it helps us a lot in a lot of ways. Besides, we need them and they need us, and that's just the way it is

And I've been not avoiding it, but circumstances, because we were traveling and all, did not permit stability. And part of the reason we didn't keep a pet was we were moving constantly from one location to the other. And so now when we kind of settled in one place, at least as it seems for now, then the request came thickened, fast and saying now we should have a pet. So I finally gave in

And I think I heard also I'm driving through, but I believe I also heard that you allow the animals to sleep with you, your pet to sleep with you. It is a comforting, I won't deny that.
