Rant: Ageism

I then hear older generations talking about, well, younger generations don't leave home soon enough. Well, it's a different economy and much of the planet different housing markets. You can work a ridiculous number of hours and not make enough money in order to be able to buy that house, let alone a starter house

Please, for all that you value & hold dear, please see your fellow humans as HUMAN not a number.

Okay, that was a lot of steam and I kind of agree with what you're saying. But having said that, I think the root cause of such conversations are being behavior or attitude is this eternal debate between ability and experience. So which one do you prefer and why and how? In the sense that on one hand, there is no compression algorithm for experience. You've got to do what you got to do over a period of time and some learnings will take time to happen

To do this particular job or have this particular title or be in this particular place in life. Etc. Or et cetera. And then how we evaluate others, either coming through that same process or even anyone who dares to step out beyond what's the status quo. I can wrap my head around all of those different concepts and how that affects our perceptions and so on
