Holidays in monsoon season. Why???

article image placeholderUploaded by @Bendi_G
But we don't really like the rain. We complain about rain. We complain about everywhere. I mean, at the moment, there's a heat wave there and it's got getting up to 40 degrees centigrade temperatures they've never had in England before. And of course, they'll be complaining about that in England because English people like to complain. But rain we particularly don't like. We escape England to get nice warm weather

Maharashtrans & Mumbaikars love going on holiday when the rain pours. Explain that concept to me. #monsoon #rainyseason #mumbai #india

Hi. There holidays in monsoon, right? Because, see, not all schools are on a higher floor. They may be on the ground floor itself. And when the water fills, the classrooms might even have some water in them. The schools might not have a proper way of ventilation if the windows are closed. Reaching the school when it's flooded on the roads and the water is all over is not quite easy. It creates traffic jams and just chaos

So I'm just trying to understand what's the appeal of doing it in the rainy season? Not why the schools closed in the rainy season, because that makes sense. Because if it's flooded and it causes problems with electricity and interrupts teaching makes total sense. But there are people who are not students, who are adults, who are not at school, who choose to do it. So I'm just trying to understand what the appeal is

Thank you for your response or should I say Daniela but this is an English language section. There is a Hindi section but this is an English language section so unfortunately I can't speak very much Hindi and I can't understand very much. So I can't give you an honest response to what you just said because I don't understand it because this is an English

Even down Kerala, it's among the most cherished seasons. Despite the floods and water logging that happens of late. Over the last ten years, Kerala has seen that as well. But it's also interestingly in Ayurveda, the time that you take for treatments, right? Detoxification treatments, super. People do go in for these retreats in ayurvedic hospitals where they take some time off to take care of their health and so on. Yes. Thank you for inviting me to this

Yeah, wonderful topic. And I think it's my kind of topic. I am just I live near to Luna Villa. I live in the Vasa city and it rains heavily, heavily here. And I like it so much that I forget everything. So for me, it's individual also. For example, when I was very young, my mother, I loved rain or rain always, water rain always
