Mexico’s Deadly Coca-Cola Addiction - Unreported World

article image placeholderMexico’s deadly Coca-Cola addiction | Unreported World
You think that America has a Coca Cola addiction and then you go to one of these cities in Mexico and quite literally, it is worked into the fabric of their religion. It is such a cultural staple that it is honestly more accessible than water and around the same price as water in many regions. One thing that you can obviously imagine due to the consumption rates is that there are tremendously high amounts of individuals with diabetes, much more than other places on Earth

Hey, Taylor. You know, the health literacy conversation comes up for me, which is a subset of just general adult literacy when you look at how critical thinking can help people make smart decisions. But you rightly say that there's a lot of corporate strength behind the marketing of messaging. And just like, they made the Marble man really sexy and masculine

Taylor, thank you for sharing this. Somehow it's not surprising, but still very disturbing. It made me think of something I had read recently where scientists are saying that even rainwater is not considered safe anymore. When you were talking about the water having E. Coli in it, apparently in most places on the planet, all the places that have been tested anyway, the rainwater has been contaminated with forever chemicals, they're called

Let's get water into crates, into schools. You know, they could put pretty pictures on the bottles that kids would be interested in. Do the thing that milk did

@Taylor Coke Symbol of Free West

Taylor. Look what I found. I was scrolling through my Instagram and my trip to Cambodia five years ago. I had really bad dysentery. Long story short, the only thing I could drink was Coke. And I never ever, ever and Coca Cola And I drank it for two weeks because it was the only thing. Oh, that and white wine. Honey, how's this picture with Cambodian writing? When I was in Hong Kong, people used to say, coke of free west

So it's a tough reality that we live in, but as much as we point a finger to somewhere else, three fingers point towards us as well. How are we in our everyday lives? And I'm sure there is a section of audience and segment of audience which is very conscious, which is very balanced, but that one can fairly say that it's not across the spectrum as it were

This is a really shocking news, but it is the truth of our generation. And I think, like, we should try and make our kids understand, like, what is the difference between a junk food food and healthy food, and we should limit having junk food and everything. Thank you. Bye

Well, CocaCola drinking CocaCola is a deadly addiction, not only in Mexico, but also in other pardes of the world. And I studied a lot of studies that say that, you know, it's very harmful, and the things that are used in making CocaCola are very harmful. And some of the comments by former employees, I've also heard them
