"Affordable" Housing

And I find it honestly so frustrating for a little bit of background. I have been working in housing and homelessness for ten years a little bit more. So this is a really important topic for me, and it probably is for a lot of people, even if they're not fully aware of the extent of how high cost of living really is, specifically the cost of housing in the US

And we need some people with some good old common sense in government and in leadership to really address this on a thoughtful and intentional level so that people have a safe place to go and not a halfway house and not a government supplied high rise, but really be able to be in a position where they can afford to live and provide for their families

And why do they spend the money on the report in the first place if it doesn't affect change in policy, or if it does, can you tell us what to look for in terms of things that are in response to this, that are hopeful? What does a legislator do who sees this? What does a politician do who sees this? What does a county and local supervisor do who sees this? A mayor or a housing advocate do who sees this report?
