GENERARION SHIP: Would you go?

article image placeholderUploaded by @EricG
Eric here. Hope everyone's having a great weekend. I thought I would do something fun, and since I had so much success with my with my hobby question, I thought I would ask another variant engaging question for everyone out there to start a conversation. I thought this would be really fun. So have you ever heard of the generarion ship? They made a movie about it not too long ago. It's a concept that was first introduced in the very early 1900 by an astronomer

I'd also want the group to be large because although we can probably take with us a lot of pieces of culture that I would want access to, whether we're talking music or even digital representations of art and so on, I want to be able to be a part of the ongoing process of culture creating. Right

I've been in the wilderness all my life. And I can't imagine life without the sound of the wind in the trees, the sound of the birds, the sound of a stream of running water, and the sound of a trailing on my feet and the feel of the sun in my face. That would suck. I would not like it if I didn't have that. That would be really hard. Anyway, you're right. It does bring about a really interesting conversation. Yes

Hi, Eric. I have actually seen the movie Passengers, and my short answer to your question would be no, I don't want to go and live in that kind of situation. Unless, of course, that's the last resort, right? Like, if Earth was coming to an end for some reason and you had to escape, then you don't have a choice but voluntarily to kind of do something like that
