So if you've been following me for a little while, you'll know that I am a big fan of documentaries and docuseries and also I have a tendency to watch a lot of stuff that has to to do with cults or murder, things like that, that's kind of intense. And I go through periods where I watch some of these and then I need to take a break, et cetera
I can't remember if he was a podcaster or a YouTuber, but this was maybe eight years ago, something like that. But a guy kind of did a tell all about his experience growing up in Scientology. And one of the things that he said that was incredibly alarming to me, that I did not know, is that, of course, whether this guy is telling the truth or not is up for debate

Or who's to say we're all human? Are they truly perfect? Who knows? If they're truly perfect, how do you know? You just got to have faith and hope that they're living a good life to be the one departing you for your sins. But then again, right, like, that's a man influenced process, for all I know. But I am intrigued. I'll be curious to want to educate myself more like, what is Scientology?

It is wild. And the thing you said about Children 100% true in general, the Docu series, I think you're going to be fascinated to learn more about the financial aspect of it and definitely lots of child labor going on there and I'm sure laws being broken

Oh my goodness. It is so funny that you mentioned Making of a Murderer because actually as I've been watching this docu series about Scientology I've been thinking of that docuseries because I think this I really think that this may might be the first docu series I've seen since Making of a Murderer where my mouth has just dropped and this series has also got me a little tear several times because some of the stories are just unbelievable

I think since you're familiar with immunity and stuff, especially so different than Scientology, but also when you just start looking at some of the tactics and what happens to people, it's very similar. I think the thing that is most, like, just fascinating and also horrifying to me about Scientology is the way that it is connected in a lot of ways to Hollywood and celebrity and what that means for power and influence and larger culture troll things happening there
