Talk to Me Tuesday:The iseology of going against the grain

article image placeholderUploaded by @Her_Sisu
And I just got an email the other day where it said someone, I don't know who, I'm very honored that they nominated me for an award author and orator of the year. And I thought, oh, my God, if I would not have paused to bet on myself to go against the grain, none of this would be here. None of this would be here

YES… its like you know my life! Lol…sorta 🙏🏽❤️

I know it was because during that year, I also applied to go into a master's degree program online for two years. And also, it was like the beginning of the pandemic when I was going through that master's degree program, and it was rough. But your boy now has a master's degree and also is enrolled in a doctorate program. So those moments where we're forced to go against the grain and we choose to go against the grain can be very rewarding

And then going forward into your doctorate degree program, you're going to do amazingly well in your doctorate degree program and you're going to find the process I completed my doctorate degree in 2018. I have a doctorate in health administration. You're going to find the process to be enlightening, empowering. It's going to really pull you, stretch you, bend you grow, you evolve you in such an amazing way

But the most rewarding feeling is just like you were saying, like that moment when you realize, oh, my goodness, I am able to embody those powerful things that I said before about having faith and being supported by my loved ones, but also by my spiritual team and by God and the universe. Like having that conviction and that powerful emotional connection and that authority and that natural godfideness is what I call it, right? That confidence that what I'm speaking is true
