The Forward Party: Can it work? Are you interested?

article image placeholderFormer Republicans and Democrats form new third U.S. political party
There's no collaboration, and it just seems like it is a broken so. I think the timing for a third party is absolutely great right now. However, we've seen third parties come and go and none have really kind of stuck. I think we've had a couple of presidential candidates that had decent runs like Ross Perot and Ralph Nader, but nothing that was significant to really disrupt the two party system

I mean, it's hard to say, right? The timing does seem like if any time was good it would be now but we don't have a platform yet and I think that's really key of whether it's going to sway anyone to decide I had to go on board or not on some of these topics that are especially polarizing within the United States. How do you create a centrist view around them?

It's not something that just I wish to be a national party, and I'm going to be a national party tomorrow. I think they're going to have to lay down their roots state by state, win states, and then work their way to becoming a national party. And they should be willing to do this over a 2030 40 year period slowly, then you have a chance

There are lots of changes that we can make to the rules which will allow our politicians to better represent us. I mentioned approval voting. This is a really easy one to understand. In approval voting, voters get to look at all possible candidates, and they can say for each individual candidate yes or no, essentially saying, yes, I approve of this person throwing their hat in the ring to be president or mayor or governor, or you can say, no, I don't approve
