Spirituality Series 🔮✨: New Favorite Books from Alan Watts

article image placeholderUploaded by @cassidywat
He saw Zen as one of the most precious gifts of Asia to the world. So I wanted to know more about that. I don't know as much as I want to, or should I guess? So that interests you? Definitely check it out. The Way of Zen. And lastly, the book on the taboo against knowing who you are. So he kind of talks about what it means to be human in this

We Are Running Out of Time

Hi Cassidy. Congratulations on choosing Alan Watts to read. He is quite amazing. I'd actually urge you to look at YouTube to to listen to him, however, because I think something is lost and just not listening to his spoken word. He is so incredibly eloquent and almost melodic and just quite relaxing to listen to. So I'd urge you to go to one particular video. We are running out of time. I think that's quite a hard hitting lesson

Thanks so much for your reply. I'm gonna go watch that YouTube video. We are running out of time right now. I've definitely kind of heard a similar philosophy of his, you know, just we're living in the future and to be more present. So, yeah, I'm going to go watch that. I was going to say my brother Andrew, who actually introduced me to Alan Watts, has played a couple of his YouTube videos for me
